What is Old Pueblo Road Rally 2012?

  • Fun – a 1/1/2 to 2-hour driving tour of Tucson that starts centrally and ends on the Eastside
  • Competitive – score points and win great prizes by:
    • Solving clues/following directions
    • Successfully completing activities
    • Knowing your Tucson trivia and history
  • Clever clues, awesome awards, fabulous food and a sizzling silent auction

Put together your team and join in the fun on Saturday, April 28, 2012.  Rally teams gather at St. Cyril’s Parish, 4725 E. Pima St., at 9:00 a.m. The rally will commence at 10:00 a.m. sharp; the awards lunch and silent auction at Tucson Country Club will begin at approximately 12:00 noon.

Teams: Every vehicle is considered a team.  Every team must have at least two (2) people (driver and navigator).  If you have more than four people on your team, there is a $25 registration fee for each additional person.  For safety reasons, motorcycle teams are not permitted.

The team driver must be at least 21 years of age and present a valid driver’s license.  Proof of insurance and car ownership (or permission of owner) are also required.

Prizes will be awarded to:

  • Top 3 scoring teams
  • Non-Sponsored team raising the most money
  • Best decorated vehicle

Sponsorships

Event sponsorship packages offer terrific promotional exposure and complementary rally teams.

Fundraising

The fundraising minimum for each team is $500.  Teams that reach a fundraising goal of $1,000 receive the same benefits as a Rally Team Sponsor (see “Sponsorship”). You can collect pledges in advance from co-workers, family and friends, or you can donate the full amount yourself.  It’s up to you!

Dollars raised through the 2012 Old Pueblo Road Rally will help seniors live healthy, safe and independent lives by supporting the programs Catholic Community Services provides for seniors, including home-delivered meals and congregate nutrition sites, Barrio Viejo and Casitas on East Broadway low-income senior housing, medical and dental care through St. Elizabeth’s Health Center, counseling, and a hearing aid bank through the Community Outreach Program for the Deaf.  CCS helps individuals and families without regard to age, gender, race, or religion.

This is not a race.  Vehicles range from pick-up trucks to sports cars, from car club show-stoppers to everyday autos.
